After pivoting away from kitchen software in 2020, Mirth Turtle now operates the world's first Go airline and publishes media promoting the game of Go and mirth in general. Volume 3 of young adult adventure series SNAPBACK is highly anticipated by fans, and the Shimari training platform sharpens the minds of Go players worldwide.

But several unwise business decisions threaten the company.

Attempting to expand into new markets, Mirth Turtle spun off Source Tortoise Software—but this fledgling subsidiary open-sourced its best products, throwing away millions in potential revenue.

If that wasn't enough, a disastrous Reddit marketing campaign has turned the public against the company brand.
